Introducing the Currumbin Wildlife Research Institute
Friday, 27 March 2026 | Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
Join us for a special lunchtime event marking the Turning of the Soil for the new Currumbin Wildlife Research Institute.

About This Event
This powerful moment signals the shift from vision to reality – the beginning of a world-class facility that will transform wildlife conservation from emergency response to science-led prevention, research, education and collaboration. Wildlife admissions have been at record levels. Emergency care alone is no longer enough.
The facility is being built.
The expertise is ready.
What’s needed now is your support – to equip the Institute with world-class fit-out, technology and research capability that will change outcomes for wildlife.
Every ticket includes a 3 course lunch, drinks, tea and coffee. There will also be plenty of live entertainment, raffle prizes, a live auction and presentations.
