About This Charity Gala
Right now, something extraordinary is taking shape. The Currumbin Wildlife Institute is under construction and with it, a new era for Australian conservation. A world-class hub for native wildlife research, rehabilitation, and conservation science, the Institute is more than a building. It is a declaration that Australia’s most vulnerable species deserve a fighting chance, and that we are the ones to give it to them.
Every dollar raised at the 2026 Gala goes directly toward funding the critical programs, equipment and expertise that will bring the Currumbin Wildlife Institute to life and keep it at the forefront of conservation science for generations to come.

As an animal-lover, Tony will be in his element once again this year, celebrating the next era for wildlife conservation.
Georgia Costi
We are thrilled to be welcoming Georgia Costi as MC, alongside Tony Auden this year. Georgia is a celebrated journalist and television presenter on Australia’s number one breakfast program, Sunrise. Growing up on the Gold Coast, Georgia is a lover of Australian wildlife and has seen first-hand the incredible work the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital does and has fond memories of visiting Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary through the years.
