Koala Trauma Season is the time of year between July and December when Koalas are on the move.

During these months is when breeding season begins and male Koalas look for female Koalas.

Koala joeys also mature during this time and leave their territories.

The vet team have been working around the clock to save Elizabeth Curly the Koala that was sadly hit by a car in Helensvale, Queensland.

Fortunately, Elizabeth Curly survived the accident but is now being treated for skull fractures.

This precious patient is also carrying a joey in her pouch who hasn’t emerged yet.

Currumbin Wildlife Hospital needs your support to reduce Koala admissions as Koala Trauma Season begins.
