A Gala to Remember – Over $100K Raised for Wildlife

The 2025 Wildlife for Tomorrow Charity Gala took place on Saturday the 6th of September and was hosted by renowned media personalities Tony Auden and Lynn Gilmartin. The Homestead at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary set the scene for an incredible evening of celebration, philanthropy, and purpose.

Community leaders, wildlife advocates and philanthropists united to support the life-saving work of Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, as well as long-term efforts through Currumbin Wildlife Conservation. It was an exciting evening celebrating the next chapter for Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, with the unveiling of the plans for the new Wildlife Research and Education Campus.

Over $100,000 was raised for Australian wildlife, a mammoth effort for our generous community of wildlife supporters. A standout moment was during the Live Auction when artist Shannon Doyle sold his Kookaburra masterpiece to one generous bidder for $21,000!

A huge thank you to our Presenting Partner, Jellurgal Aboriginal Cultural Centre for making the evening possible. Thank you also to our Corporate Partners, volunteers and performers who made this special event a success.

Jingeri – Hello

We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the greater Yugambeh language region, the Country on which Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and Hospital are situated today. We recognise their continuing connections to the land, sky, waters (waterways), and wildlife. We thank them for caring for this Country and its ecosystems.

We celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and we pay our respect to Elders past and present.
